Okay I did the lineart, I even colored it and added real fast shading and highlights. I will update this in the future and make it more sugimori style and fix the lineart V_V'' because I do like this fakemon. However, I haven't done any homework for a week now and I have a test on monday so I can't poor my whole time playing around on the computer ^_^'' I hope this is good enough for the contest!
I changed the lineart a bit since I noticed shiftry's own head is not even attached to it's body. So now I made it look like it has no neck..>_>

Sorry its a doodle I have no time to do lineart and color the whole thing since the deadline is soon... I have homework and stuff but I still wanted to submit it since I did all those other entries. When I have time I will make a better drawing and actually color it but that's after the contest.

This is actually a doodle of what I was planning for shiftry's alternate evolution, the one in my sketch book is the same but it does not look as nice. I added the base colors in, just follow the legend below. The shading is simple but I can explain that if needed. I made it look like a tengu because after all shiftry IS a tengu.
Thus I made it still look like a tengu but more...fierce (dark lol). Search tengu for more information, you might understand what type of concept I am trying to...convey >_>.

When Kohappa evolves via a leaf stone it will become Daatengu (shiftry). When it holds the dark gene while evolving with the leaf stone it becomes Odengu. It grows fur underneath its mouth, and has a more layered mane. The leaves shiftry originally has are replaced with razor sharp claws, and end up bundled and sharp on it's back. (similar to what common folks wear in feudal Japan when it rains or snows)
